Your argument falls apart when you use as your examples all games created towards the middle and end of last generation's life cycles in comparison to the first two-three years of this life cycle. Many developers reach greater heights as they get more familiar with the hardware. Why not compare this Capcom of DMC4, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, RE5(which you are prematurely judging), Zack and Wiki, etc. to the numerous rushed arcade ports for the Dreamcast, throwbacks Resident Evil with tank controls when they should have rehauled the series(RE Code Veronia, RE Remake + RE Zero), Street Fighter EX3, Devil May Cry, and the also not quite AAA material, your namesake Onimusha, which was just a new paintjob on an already old gameplay formula.
Capcom has not failed us even one generation yet, and Clover has been a non factor through most of it. Given the stellar track record through the years I don't see how anyone can doubt them even now.
Your whole argument does smell like bias. You were asking for RE5 for the Wii in a petition a month ago and now you're basically writing it off since it's not coming. You got overly angry about the Okami port in multiple topics which explains where this whole topic is coming from in the first place and really can't be held against Capcom, because the original Okami is still intact, the same way you wouldn't judge RE4 by the subpar porting to the PC, but to the stellar game on the GC, ps2 and Wii.
