I picked up a Vita in my move from Nintendo to Sony as my primary gaming ecosystem, so you are still on topic. This may be very controversial, but the Vita handheld is so much better than the 3DS it's not even comparable. I have a hard time playing my 3DS now, going back to the low resolution. And I can play my Vita games on the TV with the PSTV and a DualShock 4. And I can stream my PS4 games to the Vita too, ALL my PS4 games.

Vita is grossly, GROSSLY underated and under appreciated. It actually IS my primary console. I use it more than my PS4 or PS3. An all time fave for sure. I only have experience with the 3DS at kiosks. Although I'm sure it's great in it's own right, I have found the low resolution jarring.
