In 2013 and early 2014, when I was only playing on Nintendo consoles (and never even tried something else), I started getting tired of gaming and only picked up very few titles. Pikmin 3 for example amazed me and I liked Super Mario 3D World as well, but those were exceptions. The Wii U, with a lack of appealing titles to me, has pretty much turned me off from Nintendo and gaming in general. In late 2014 however I bought myself a PS Vita, then a proper PC with Steam and after that a PS4, and sorta experienced a ''renaissance of gaming''. Tried out many new genres and found new awesome franchises (Hyperdimension Neptunia, Europa Universalis, Assassin's Creed, The Elder Scrolls, ect.) and that sorta revived my love for gaming. And here I am, having wasted ~3000€ on gaming last year. :p
