You can find and uninstall that update (in windows 7 at least). I doubt they will stop displaying it mind you. I think the update is 'KB3035583' (according to the internet), so find that in your updates and uninstall it.
I personally haven't updated win 7 in a while as the last one crash my PC, probably show but also no intention of getting windows 10, I'll get it when I upgrade my laptop in a few years. |
Yea, I had to delete KB3035583 update because it was annoying me too much. Also, it would crash half the time on boot up so I was wondering why I would I want to upgrade to the new OS if they can't even make the update program not crash constantly. Deleting that update has actually given me some peace of mind. It also made me change the Windows Update process to my full control because I don't want anymore bs patches that annoy me.
