I think your kind of mentality shows how successful console makers were in warping everyone's mind. Making people believe that 30 fps is anything but abysmal is genius. Much like the diamond industry convinced everyone they need diamonds for engagement rings or how Mc Donalds convinced people their products are food.

It's even better when they manage to get people to defend their bullshit.
