This situation is no different than the PS1. They launch with a non-rumble controller then introduce the dual-shock. No difference really. As for there statments about Rumble being last gen...it is. If they do add some sort of force feedback, I would bet its much better than the old vibration feature. I personaly dont need nor care about rumble but it would be a cool feature to try if its an updated version. It would eventially get turned off though just as the dualshocks I have now do.
