For those naive enough to think that voting doesn't matter, be mindful of your own life and aspirations and pick someone knowing that there is always a worse choice. You do this because you don't have any right complaining years down the line when shit hits the fan because there will be a president whether you like it or not.

My vote literally does not matter. The electoral college makes states all or nothing, and Minnesota has voted democrat every election since like 1920 (we were literally the only state to vote against Reagan and for Mondale).

I have more power at the primaries by choosing whom the swing states go for than at the general.

I know the feeling my town has had the same MP and voted for exactly the same party year in year out for longer than I have lived.

However, if everyone who didn't vote because there was no point voting actually went out and voted, whoever they picked would actual be the one in power.

Status quo relies on the "what's the point?" Non vote. If non voters suddenly turned up, elections would be turned on their heads. (In the UK at least)

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
