Apparently disabling that render actually makes the fps worse, the game was more or less a straight up console only game and the movement to PC has basically rendered it worse off. This whole "let them make things right" could have been avoided years ago if MS had just listened to it's PC base than simply ignoring it.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
