This should need a thread of it's own but god damn is it both funny and true:

LOL, so true!    And not only for games, also for phones, TVs and cars (the real, significant innovations are introduced far less often than they want to make us believe, or even worse, they have to cheat to make us believe they delivered all that they promised, like VolksWagen).

I doubt that your CPU is the bottleneck, just upgrade your GPU.

Thats what i was thinking too at first. But i been playing a lot of emus lately(More so then new games) and i was thinking overclocking my cpu would help big time with this. When it comes to new games my gpu isnt really even a problem yet, (I get 30fps@1080P with everything maxed  except for shadows on medium in Quantum Break).

At this point, if I were you, I'd make a preliminary choice: if I were totally willing to stay with Intel, I'd start searching even now, but if I were willing to consider AMD too, I'd wait for the new Zen range launch. If I wished to stay with Intel anyway, but I weren't in a hurry, I'd wait for Zen too, to benefit from Intel's reaction on performances, prices or both.
