In a game where every action matters and death is a real opportunity with a moment of latency 720p with 60fps is the obvious selection, more games should do this.
When a game runs on 1080p with 30fps obviously it looks a little better and is playable but when the fps drops just a little its extremely noticeable, on 720p with 60fps even where there is a 10fps drop its noticeable but not game-breaking, so overall much much better,
