It's a new IP and a I suppose for many its not on their radar yet but for me its day one. I love games where you are immersed into a virtual world and I love space exploration games and scifi in general. I totally understand though there are people that wouldn't be interested in this game. There are many game genres that others love that have given me absolutely no entertainment value as not my thing, like football games or most turn based strategy games etc.
I'm clearly hoping this game does well though enough to create more interest in the genre and more follow up games of a similar type.
