I actually came into the thread to say, PS3 doesn't need to be revived or saved; it's handily beating 360 nowadays and the trend looks very likely to continue. PS3 costs will keep coming down, and profits will rise. Attach rate is really starting to majorly improve. Christmas 08 will be huge for Blu-Ray.

Do you realise this threadis about Japan and how bad is the PS3 loosing the market against the Wii??? andhow really needs awesome boost and the OP thinks about FF as the source of that boost to come back to the game???

Do you realize that the OP didn't mention the Wii?  As for the rest of it, yeah, I realize and my post was responsive to it.  I said that PS3 will get awesome boosts from several things, and I listed them.  Thanks for bolding some of them, but Monster Hunter was at least as big for PSP in Japan as the slimmer model was.

And if my post proves it (except the Wii reference, which you are wrong about), why do you ask if I realize what the thread is about, only to show me that Ive discussed that very thing in my post?

 Then, Why the PS3 should be saved, or revived?? if is clear is due to loosing against the Wii...
