People love to hate on Nintendo for some odd reason. I guess people are entitled to their own decisions but come on if you don't like them then don't talk about them. I don't like Macs but you're not going to see me go on an Apple forum and talk crap about them. That's a waste of my time and the rest of the people's time on the forum.

People are even starting to try and debunk the idea that Nintendo is somewhat financially stable, like that Mundane Matt dude. Yes, Nintendo didn't hit their profit targets but at least they made profit unlike 2-3 years ago! Every company has its ups and downs. They wouldn't exist without them. Sony's Vita is a freaking bomb but people don't even mention that because it's obvious. But people still give Nintendo crap about Wii U when we all know it's a bomb saleswise. We get it, Wii U sucks in terms of sales but it's not going to sink Nintendo.

One bad console won't sink any company. Nintendo has had a great run from NES-Wii with them posting Nintendo like profits every one of those years. It wasn't until Wii U that things got shaky. If Wii U doesn't kill Nintendo PSV won't kill Sony. Nintendo is not doomed, people don't understand just how big Nintendo really is. They look at investor meetings as if they're analysts and take that 61% drop in profit, which isn't good but has been worse in the past, as being Nintendo's doom.

Everybody wants to be a Nintendo analyst these days and they're doing it with false mindsets because they don't want to do the research and they'll just regurgitate what the media has been saying without digesting anything. Nintendo is in a difficult situation...but doomed...far from it actually.

And one more thing, when people bring up the "Reserves" thing, you have to understand...during the Wii and DS era...the Wii and DS literally printed money. That meme...is 100% accurate. Most of the reserves that Nintendo has now were accumulated during that era. 250 Million units of hardware between Wii and DS, you of course have the software which sold at crazy rates, Mario Kart Wii at 35 Million, The Wii series, hundreds of millions of units, Pokemon on DS, New Super Mario Bros...just to name a few. And ALL that profit went straight to Nintendo. No middle man 3rd party or first party stuff going on.

If Nintendo were doomed, we'd see much worse than poor console sales. We'd see entire closing of important studios, laying off of thousands of staff, losses out the ass, and nobody buying their software...which for the most part isn't the case. Nintendo isn't invincible but they're well off enough.
