My specs are - Core2 Duo 2.4ghz, 4 gb ram, Vista 32, 8800gt

I play Crysis maxed at 960/600 (Haze resolution basicly) resolution on Very high.

It runs smooth for me.

The game looks great and its SO much fun. I like it more than 95% of all shooters that have come out this gen, even more than CODIV and HaloIII and RFOM. I love the immersion and gameplay! Its awesome, Im only just playing it though.. I waited until I got my graphics card - Which cost me $80 after I got a good deal buying it and selling the old one.

if you SLi the 8800GT you should be able to handle at what people here would call 1200p

I would need 4x the graphics power at least to play at 1920/1200, since im pushing 4x the pixels. I would need... a GTX 280 as its currently rumoured to be called. Est features - 240SP, 40+ Texturing units - twice the ROPs 512bit interface and 1gb of ram. Then I would need to buy a second one most likely. (But the extra memory bandwidth and size would be sexy for enabling AA) Which I would need since the upscaling blurs the lines anyway, except if I play at a higher resolution.

Too bad I have an INTEL motherboard. SLI is a no go, until I upgrade or switch to the 4870 and Crossfire them. Thats unlikely, but if I get a good deal selling my current card...

It's too bad I won't be upgrading until next year when Core3 (Nehalem) is out. Its still up in the air whether or not Nvidia will make a decent chipset for it.
