Also, here's something important and obvious - NX will negatively effect Wii U sales buy not 3DS sales. Why? Because they're releasing the console form factor first. Not some weird in-between hybrid. A console that will succeed the Wii U and not the 3DS. The platform is what isn't a "simple replacement" because it replaces both. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less. All that is saying is that the platform will be unified. Can't wait until all the questions are out. |
The way I see it is that Nintendo beloved there are at least 40M people out there willing to buy a Nintendo handheld console. So the best thing to do is make a handheld with a "home unit" included. or a console with a "handheld" included. So basically one box, but two platforms.
