My own unpopular opinion on that topic: That would be the N64. Cant stand it. Even fewer great games than on the Wii U, the worst controller in the history of gaming and worst first party titles of any nintendo console. It made me go to PC games for almost 15 years before turning back to consoles again. Probably not going to get a lot of agreement here on that though hehe.

As for the Wii U, I have had lots of fun with it and it has certainly been worth every penny. MK8, Smash, Splatoon, Pikmin 3, Mario 3D World, Mario Maker, Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends (definite edition), Tropical Freeze, Windwaker (definite edition), Woolly World, XCX are some of my favorite games to come out since 2012 across all systems. Depth is lacking though but there are some great games and solid amount of Indie games as well. Too bad it didnt become more of a hit with more support. I think it will be looked upon like a great system in a few years and will be highly sought after by collectors. Sort of like the Dreamcast.

i hear you but disagree like most people will.  The N64 was the system that made me get my first non-nintendo system.  It was really good however, i mean if you didn't have a N64 you were really missing out big time.  If you don't have a Wii U this gen...well you are missing out to some extent but not that much.  N64 had depth in the overall library but it had huge holes in certain genres, and that's what made me get the playstation.

It did have some depth for sure, but the controller made them practically unplayable. Good god I hate that trident hehe :>

See you are playing Blaster master, have you beaten it? :> It's a pretty hard game
