Really? That was just a little bit before my time. For some reason I thought games had always been $50-60.

$40 in today's currency isn't terribly painful, though. It's just a tad more than I've ever had to spend on a game. It used to be that I'd pay $12, and split the rest of the cost with my siblings, but now that I'm on my own... Ugh. $60! It stings!
