No offense, but the overreaction towards this is utterly ridiculous, and borderline idiotic.

We don't yet know what the console will be, and we haven't seen any games for it yet.

The argument that it's bound to fail because it misses the 2016 holiday season is equally stupid. It's going to be there for holiday season 2017, and the others after it. Besides, consoles sales aren't like most game sales: they're not front loaded. They're marathon runners.

Really, the overreaction culture that's been going on on the internet for some years now, and the negativity plague that comes with it needs to go and rot.

The NX might very much be the next big thing. And no matter when it launches, if it's disruptive, if it entails people into what it brings to the table, no matter when it launches, it will sell.

If this is the kind of topics that's going to litter the forums until the NX launches, it's going to be painful to stick around. There's barely any semblance of intelligence coming out of these. In fact, there should be a warning in front of every such topic title that says: "WARNING: reading this topic might give you brain cancer".
