Doc is not going to get fired. It's not very smart to fire a coach that leads a team to the playoffs, unless there someone significantly better ready to take his place. There's also the fact that they traded picks for Rivers as well.
Also, they weren't going to get to the Finals this year anyways, even with Paul and Griffin. With Paul and Griffin injured, they now have an excuse.
