Nice you are hyped over it. I personally thought it was just ok. Personally Alan Wake to me was much better game all around, the only thing QB has over it is graphics. The story was good, the live action was better than i thought it'd be, but the gameplay was just lacking and isn't very deep. Other issues.
1. Too short
2. Too easy. Hard difficulty is like Easy on Alan Wake.
3. Lack of weapons and limited abilities
4. Platforming aspects very basic
5. Lack of animations(like picking up weapons or switching weapons, foliage doesn't react when pass through it)
6. Walking around picking a slew of pointless collectibles. Should have just been emails seeing as they did provide some back story. Also Chronon since they are essential to upgrading powers.
IDK I just feel like it didn't meet the hype.
Also no sure if it was an intentional design, but the earbud Jack Joyce wears constantly pulsating in/out of his ear, drove me mad.
Edit: Also honestly with the exception of the pre-rendered scenes, I didn't find it that amazing visually. The effects were really cool, but it's not that pretty in action.
