It's definitely feels a DRPG-Lite but it really trims the fat as far as exploration and combat goes. There aren't any big open areas with lots of tiles to explore. It's just corridors which really helps with my "must explore every inch" OCD I usually get when playing DRPGs. The combat is what really surprised me however. I've known it was just swiping the touch screen back and forth for awhile but it caught me off guard with how deep it is. You have to approach every enemy differently and how you swipe effects how much damage you do. The way combat works is just weirdly satisfying, I like it. This is definitely one of those games you shouldn't brush off because you THINK you won't like it. It's cheap (and good) enough that it worthy of a purchase no matter what kind of games you usually like. |
I will eventually, but not now. I have so many Indies/games to get like Risk or Rain, UNepic, Rocketbirds 2, X-Com, Civ 2, Axiom Verge and Skullgirls 2nd Encore.
