Either Metal Gear Rising or Vanquish. The former made me love hack n' Smash games, a genre I'm not too fond of, and has some sweet learning curve, some interesting villains, and an addictive "cut" mechanics, in which tearing things apart is sadistically satisfying. The later, though, it's one of the most entertaining third person shooters I've played in the last decade, that allows for plenty of replayability (despite being so short), in an arcade-based videogame structure, controls very smooth and it is enjoyable all the way through. Mastering its mechanics is hard, but gratifying.

Shout-out to Madworld, which despite the repetitiveness, it was also a great game.
