i agree with the right on this. I rather us use our oil reserves and also sell some of that oil overseas instead of using foreign oil so much. It would boost the economy, create provide plenty of jobs and the extra tax money coming in could be used to research a renewable green energy. 

Are we gonna compete with Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and the newly and hungry candidate Iran? Good luck with that.

Also, you really think oil lobbyists will let government subsidize renewable energy without a fight?
