Funny that people are saying story is superfluous and emotional range doesn't matter, but when it comes to making a movie, that's all that matters. Why make a movie if you are going to make the character one dimensional and the plot dumbed down.
Also so what if the movie is being targeted at kids? Have you seen those Disney Pixar movies? Take a lesson from them, they don't treat kids like imbeciles who can't appreciate some depth and character development and only like movies that are fun and frivolity from start to finish.
I said the game is disappointing, not bad, there's a difference. For people who've never played the original they hardly have the same frame of reference.
