I believe deeply in individual liberalism.
That is... Individual rights and freedoms, including the right to take your own life.
What I don't believe is when someone is suffering irreversibly and with immense pain or poor quality of life... That someone should deny them that right.
With that said, I do look after the sick, elderly, frail and disabled, thus my view may be skewed on this as I see it daily...
The only exceptions that should be made is when someone isn't an adult or may not have complete control over their faculties, then it would fall to a parent, guardian, significant other, family, carer etc' in conjunction with a specialist in private with the patient.
