They literally have zero third party support on the Wii U, so basically the only revenue they can make from it is from the 8-10 first party games they manage to release for it for example.

Sony has hundreds of new games on PSN because of wide developer support, so this isn't really that stunning.

100s of games per year outgrossing a platform that has maybe 10 new games a year isn't shocking. 

Thats not cherrypicked though.  That comparison does hold some weight. .
