That's fine and dandy, but you yourself are a product of immigration and a lot of people in Canada in the 70s/80s I'm sure would've said "fuck that guy, we don't want some Middle Easterner here, let him stay in Iran". 

You seriously cannot be oblivious to the irony. 

My problem is that today we're seeing mass-immigration replacing the native population. We don't need 300,000 immigrants when we can't get 150,000 jobs made in a year. You need to realize that in those days, it was almost impossible to get into this country. Today, we have too many. And when you don't have a job and need money, what happens? Society can't just keep immigrating people and expect things to be alright. Canada isn't bad yet because we had good immigration policy till recently. But now we're bringing in refugee's with no skills, don't speak the language, and who have different beliefs. M
