Perhaps it's because it's a young industry compared to manga but Korean drama is often like that, too. Some of it has some fantastic art, though, like Girls of the Wild's (Lee Moon is the best girl).

Veritas was a great Manhwa, though I wasn't too fond of the abrupt ending. I can't remember whether or not it was canceled.
I read Tower of God for the first hundred chapters, but eventually I got bored with it and stopped after the plot lost focus.
Pig Bride was a very cute romantic comedy and I would suggest it to anyone that likes a little supernatural in their rom-coms.
