Sony announced that they are requiring developers to have a single copy of the game that can play in "normal" mode and "neo" mode. Neo mode must be more graphically impressive than Normal mode but framerates must be consistent on both. Basically it will be twice as hard to publish a game on PS4s as soon as the Neo drops. it could even mean games will take up more storage space, need faster load times, and be delayed due to the extra time needed to develop for it.
