MIRROR’S EDGE CATALYST DELAYED YET AGAIN, NOW PLANNED FOR A JUNE RELEASE

Erik Odeldahl, Design Director of Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, announced today that Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst has been slightly delayed… again. According to Erik, the game is now planned for a June 7th release in North America and a June 9th release in Europe.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst’s closed beta phase will start in a couple of days, however some users have already access to it. And below you can find the first PC screenshots, courtesy of NeoGAF’s members ‘Garrett Hawke‘ ‘therealminime‘ and ‘HolyFridge‘. As Garrett claimed, these screenshots are downsampled from 4K. Performance wise, the closed beta ran with 6-7fps in 4K on a single GTX970.

According to the release notes, this patch adds a reconnect option, immediate challenge awards, improves loading times, packs general improvements to stability, and features a number of PC-specific tweaks and fixes.
