No, you can't if you turned on the "Require Password on checkout" feature, which, obviously, everyone has. So, again, you need the account password to be able to buy something. 

 

2-step is just there to make you feel safer when in reality it as effective as what's already there.

if that's what you believe then there is really no point to discuss this.  that's your opinion and it's fine for you to have that opinion i suppose but your opinion is objectively wrong.  passwords can be stolen, cracked, phished, or leaked.  2-step verification isn't flawless but it is a higher level of security than not having 2-step verification.

but whatever,.. if you don't believe in it than don't use it.  when it launches it will be optional so there is nothing to complain about.
