if that's what you believe then there is really no point to discuss this. that's your opinion and it's fine for you to have that opinion i suppose but your opinion is objectively wrong. passwords can be stolen, cracked, phished, or leaked. 2-step verification isn't flawless but it is a higher level of security than not having 2-step verification.
but whatever,.. if you don't believe in it than don't use it. when it launches it will be optional so there is nothing to complain about.
