As a technical QA, the issues really only depend on SDK implementation.
These aren't 2 code bases. It's one code base with a few extra features turned on.
I would tell my team to hit the ps4 version first, and regression / functional test the integration points of the new features. Lastly, I'd pay some cheap game testers to run through the game fully as an end to end test. In the end 15-25% more qa time.
