i personally can't stand the combo breakers.

this is why i'm playing other fighting games.

the thing is i really think Killer Instinct would be a good game

if the Combo Breakers would have limits.

When you have no limits for the breakres

people abuse them and use them too much.

putting limits could change the game

prevent abuse of the combo breakers system

and make it a lot better.

Instead of a limit for Breakers, they've implemented risks. If the person using the breaker uses the wrong type (66% chance) then they get "locked out", which allows you to do even more damage to them than you normally could. Then there's also the risk of being counter broken, as some mentioned above.

I can understand not liking this breaker system. I don't particularly like it, becausde I don't like what it does the pace and focus of the game, but that system is not as abusable as you seem to think.

Combo/Counter Breaker doesn't break the flow of the game, the opposite. It allows your opponent a chance to bounce back and put up a fight to a system that would've looked like a cpu vs cpu match. It's a game of risk and reward, additionally, you can play with the mechanic to set up your opponents.

It's a game of reading and reaction, making it a game within a game.
