its always sad to see a console retired. But, for Microsoft, this opens up the door for other projects. Also, the 360 wasn't windows 10. Now, all of Microsoft's offerings will be Windows 10 devices. I have a prediction about where Microsoft is going and it works something like this:
Microsoft merges the Xbox and Windows Store into one place for all W10 devices to access and download content.
Then, the extend the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility to PC. This way, the 360 will live on through all W10 devices.
