I personally think this is just going to turn out to be a PS4 Slim. Well, it may not be smaller, but it will have slightly higher specs, as well as an upscaler to boost gaming output to 4K, while natively supporting 4K video. It may lead to slightly higher framerates for games, but nothing drastic. I doubt Sony is going to put out a system that doubles the power of the OG PS4. That would alienate consumers too much. It would also make the leap to PS5 seem smaller. Instead of being 4x as powerful as the PS4, it'll only be twice as powerful as the new PS4.
