why not? why limit their market? they would still have a large profit margin on those. do you expect them not to sell their games at other retailers as well like best buy  wallmart? of course they will, they would be stupid by cutting their market like that. gamestop owns what, half of the retail market share? this way, they make a bigger profit margin at half of the retail market, while also selling it at other retailers to gain more sales and profits.

the games they should publish should be profitable, and the best way to do that is to sell as much as possible of them.
