Also I just played a 10th match where the super shotgun both elft and right click did nothing different up close and yet most of the time despite having my sights right on their face, doesn't stop an enemy from instantly killing me with a melee attack, in fact most of the time I'm seeing people opting straight up for melee kills and the distance betwen you and the one trying to hit you is insanely stupid, the gameplay feels pretty disconnecting and shallow.
The other thing I noticed is that other weapons hardly need to reload while you are punished with a quite slow reload animation with the super shotgun despite it's weak damage up close, seen players as well as myself outclassed by a few rocket or pulse rifle shots with a well timed melee strike. The lightning gun seems absolutely pointless compared to the other weapons, none of what I;m playing really feels like an arena shooter let alone DOOM, I feel like I'm playing COD with a DOOM skin.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
