Really I would just call you Jamican or American. Thats how I prefer it. Or Carribean. 

Nah, I'm "black" because my skin is black. Knowing that I'm Jamaican isn't something you'd be able to tell by looking at me. For instance, if you describe a missing person as "5 feet tall, Jamaican" the assumption is that the person is black. But there are Jamaicans of all races and skin colors.
