The Wii is in no need of a price cut. One does not cut prices when demand remains unmet, and in spite of this grand illusion people have, demand does not drop off overnight (especially not for a disruptive product). Iwata stated in a press release about a month ago that there is no target date for a price cut on either the Wii or DS, as they wish to maintain the value image of the two systems. A reasonable stance, even from an outsider's viewpoint, for a system which remains perpetually out of stock in the majority of retail spaces.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.
