Is upgrading 720p to 1080p worth it?

not really. I cant tell the difference tbh, even 480p vs 720p on television wasnt huge. Im still completly okay with dvds, dont need the overprieced bluerays.
A new/good tv can be a huge improvement though. But thats because beter contrast and that stuff
