How did you get to that conclusion? I play God of War and am very interesting in the next entry. The distain towards his character many express in a lot of posts is somrthing which you can only get through playing the games. Most people here sound like they've played the games, few people are judging him on design alone although I do think they need to tailor the lead to the new mythology (kratos or not).
