I suppose that could work, but I just wouldn't feel Kratos is no longer the same character that we grew up with his main purpose is to avenge his family for Zeus' trickery and wanting to rid his pain of it.
..and how are they going to fit the Egyptian gods timeline? (I believe the Egyptian gods dated before the Greek)
