Even then you can make a joke funny by adding onto it or at least showing it's a joke with faces adn the like, straight up text doesn't always translate to being funny as much, especially if you're recycling the same apparent joke over and over.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
