Of course Color Splash and MK8 can't be compared. The visual styles they go for are completely different, with paper, cardboard and anything with arts and crafts is completely different from something more... detailed of MK8. It's like trying to compare Tearaway to a more realistic PS4 game. They're different and doesn't work. It's a stylistic choice that doesn't make it any lesser of a game. And I don't care at all about Sticker Star. This game isn't about Sticker Star, it's about Color Splash. I'll be judging it solely on the game itself and not if it's like Sticker Star. I don't need to know anything about SS to play CS.

At this point, there is no point continuing. You are adamant on believing this game will be like Sticker Star, when there is very little info to base this on. Rather than caring what this game apparently 'isn't', I'm just going to wait on more info to see what it is before passing judgement. You are free to continue holding your opinion on the game, me my own. And yes, those likes are to show people are having a more positive outlook of the game Color Splash, as the content on the videos are to more closely analyze and predict possible scenarios on the game.

That's besides the point, which is that not all styles require the same amount of effort, Paper is simply one of the lesser demanding ones.

Okay fine, stay in the dark on a crucial point in Paper Mario's history, just don't tell people to wait and see under the assumption they're purposely blinding themselves as you are.

"You are adamant on believing this game will be like Sticker Star, when there is very little info to base this on." Stop right there. There's plenty to base it on, way more than enough even, you just haven't noticed since you wouldn't even know what to look for without knowledge of Sticker Star. Yet again, literally the entirety of the trailer screamed Sticker Star. The characters, or rather the lack of, instead nothing but generic toads, the same as in SS. The battle system, a stripped and watered-down version of the classics with no experience, FP, BP, partners, or special moves, the same as SS. It uses a resource mechanic, the same as SS, just replace stickers with cards, which can be found in the field, only making battles pointless and better off avoided. Even those god damn Thing stickers are back. How you progress through the game is segmented into stages/levels that you beat by reaching a goal at the end and that's it. Further still, instead of an interconnected world with areas logically joined together they just have a world map. Yep, all that was also in Sticker Star. Even small nuances like the frame by frame animation, not even a hiyah or woohoo out of Mario, and the attack names, types, and their icons are taken straight from Sticker Star. It's Sticker Star 2 without a doubt, but sure wait for the trailers or the game release to tell you this, that's fine too.

You're just repeating what I've already debunked, but I'll ignore that for now. What of the many videos straight up knocking the game getting likes? Please explain that to me. Here's a good example if you need one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JBbcaLsyZI
