I'll be playing this as much as I can and will share my thoughts about it.
Right now I'm hoping they'll achieve the impossible, which is keeping old fan base happy while making the game appealing to newcomers. Adding "noob weapons" like retro lancer and sawed-off shotgun has proven to be failure since they end up being abused by skilled players which kills the balance and makes things even worse for inexperienced players.
