God Of War is actually a very flexible title, as it could mean the God Of War of any mythology, so Santa Monica can do anything with the series as long as it features a God Of War. Also the story telling has always been top notch, its a lot deeper than what it appears to be going just by internet memes. Its actually pretty incredible how the story progressed in all these games, its written and narrated like a novel.
I'm fine if they include Kratos as long as he changes his attitude because he's been angry for a lot of games now, and he has had his redemption so it would be cool if they reveal a different side of his personality. That said I'll be fine if they feature a different protagonist, I play these games for the top notch gameplay, pacing, epic scale, boss fights and the great atmosphere.
