As someone who read the books long before the show ever came out, this is pretty unacceptable. I stopped watching the show before season 3, and I won't be watching it anymore until I have read the final word of the final book. And if I am exposed to any major spoilers, I have no issues with not reading another page or watching another episode of this whole farcical situation.
The internet being what it is, spoilers are nearly unavoidable, and I will not support this thing any further if it's ruined for me.
