Better resolutions and graphics settings have always been possible on PC compared to consoles. But such a PC isn't necessarily possible for the consumer.
If you want 1080p60fps 100% of the time at max settings on PC you would have to pay an enourmus sum.
If you want to be able to play 1080p60fps on just SOME games you could propably get it for lower, but now there is a problem with how consistent your experience is across games.
Some people don't want variables with some games being locked 60 and others running like quantum break, so they just pick consoles.
Is it really hard to understand that?
It seems so cancerous in here excuse the expression.

Not exactly. 1080P 60Fps is actually easy to obtain on the PC and cheaply, been that way for years now.

Where things get difficult is if you wish to exceed that. (I.E. 1440P/120FPS/144fps/1600P/4k/5k/Eyefinity/Surround Vision/3D/VR).
