What about Nintendo screwing over wiiu owners by releasing an entirely new console and dropping support for the wiiu after 4 years? Surely that's much worse lol.


For years the traditional concsol cycle was between 4-5 years. The Wii U is right on track to continue this tradition. The Wii did not follow this rule and it was a huge cash in for Nintendo. They made a lot of money off of the Wii. The Wii U, not so much. Give the PS4 another 2 years and then the PS5 should be good. I think a 2017-2018 is a viable launch period.
