The PS4.5 would never have been able to game at 4K - the technology isn't there for the price point they will be aiming for. If you consider a GPU that can play 30FPS 4K games is around $600, all we will see is HDMI 2.0 but hopefully a more powerful GPU simply because the one in the PS4 was pretty weak, even at launch. If they threw in something from the upcoming Pascal range with HBM2, or even GDDR5X that would give the PS4 more relevance over the next few years, especially with VR emerging.
